A message from our Fabulous Baker:
“My interest in baking began as a little girl. My mom hosted family dinners once a month and invited my grandpa and two other families over. From week to week some things changed: the guests, the theme, the menu. But one thing always stayed the same: all of us kids helped prepare the meal. My two older brothers and I each had an assignment based on age and abilities. Guess who seemed to shine at making the desserts? Yep, my middle brother. But eventually I mastered the Perfect Chocolate Cake on the back of the Hershey’s Cocoa can, and it soon became my grandpa’s favorite. And so the baking bug was born.
In 2005, I began making custom, from scratch desserts for local restaurants and coffee shops along the Gulf Coast from a rented commercial kitchen.
